Ethiopia: Principal Investigator on the Applied Research Project on Highly Vulnerable Children in Ethiopia. September 2011-present
Funded by USAID, Pact Ethiopia is implementing a US$92 million care and support program for highly vulnerable children in urban locations throughout Ethiopia. Partnered with Addis Ababa University’s School of Social Work, the BU Team is conducting a mixed method evaluation using a combination of quantitative and qualitative research activities to assess a range of outcomes. The study investigates the impact of Yekokeb Berhan on children and families, the costs of outcomes, and the implementation of Yekokeb Berhan. The study utilizes a highly consultative process to include stakeholders throughout Ethiopia and USAID headquarters.
